What is a Celebrant?A Celebrant can help you with all your family celebrations-we are not restricted by rules and regulations. Celebrants are used for Weddings Blessings in a venue of your choice with words that you have chosen and content that is personal to you.

Can a Celebrant Marry you Legally?No, at the moment you still have to do your legal wedding at either the Registry Office or Embassy at country of your residence. Most registrars will do this in their office with one witness. Once your legal wedding has taken place, you can use a celebrant for your main ceremony which can contain any content you desire.

How much do Celebrants cost?Good Celebrants can range from around £350-£800 depending on what you are requiring them to do and how long they will be with you-some include mileage into their package and others do not, so always check.

Do Celebrants travel or do you have to have a local one?Here at The International Corporation of Professional Celebrants our Celebrants are international and often travel with their couples
to their chosen wedding destination. |
Do Celebrants belong to any Associations?Yes. The International Corporation of Professional Celebrants offers a membership to qualified celebtrants who wish to work at a high set of standards. These standards are relgulated by the ICPC.

Are Celebrants Qualified?No, not always, and this is something you need to be aware of. Our Celebrants at The International Corporation of Professional Celebrants are all qualified to a NOCN QCF level 3 Diploma.

Can we meet the Celebrant before the ceremony?Yes you should always meet with your Celebrant either in person or via Skype or Facetime-but be aware that sometimes if there packages have extra mileage costs, this could up that a lot..

Do Celebrants let you have a rehearsal?Yes all of our Celebrants will do a rehearsal for you but again be aware of the charges on their time- make sure you build this into your package when booking.

Do Celebrants do alternative Ceremonies?Here at The International Corporation of Professional Celebrants all our Celebrants do a range of Alternative Ceremonies such as Hand fasting/ The pouring and mixing of Sand’s/Salts’/Crowning/Jumping the broom and Blessing of the rings. So if you are looking too add some fun or some spiritual meaning just let us know.

How far can you book a Celebrant in advance?At The International Corporation of Professional Celebrants we take bookings up the three years in advance. All bookings are secured with a booking fee.

When do we pay the Celebrant?The International Corporation of Professional Celebrants requires you to pay a non-refundable booking fee to confirm the date and venue you require. All good Celebrants will invoice you 28 days before your ceremony takes place.

Do you have to sign Terms & Conditions when booking a Celebrant?Yes all good Celebrants will require you to sign T&C’s.

Can a Celebrant do your ceremony anywhere?
Yes Celebrants are not governed by restrictions and will perform ceremonies almost anywhere, indoors, outdoors, beaches, mountains, caves, your home, your favorite garden, pub, hotel and restaurants. Even on a hot air balloon or on a yatch etc.….
