It does not have to include religious content. Alternatively, it may contain prayers and hymns if you so wish. My role, as a professionally trained Funeral Celebrant, is to work closely with you and the Funeral Director. I will help you arrange a fitting ceremony, telling the story of the life that has been lived. Every funeral should be unique and personal. I will meet with you at your home, or a place of your choice. You will have every opportunity to discuss all aspects of the service/ceremony, particularly the tribute. Yourself, family, friends may also wish to participate. You may want to include music, poetry and readings. The choice is yours. Together, we can plan the order of service/ceremony and you will be able to approve or amend the content throughout. After the service/ceremony you will receive a presentation script of the service/ceremony as a keepsake. I have a history of working in the public sector, and extensive experience in public speaking; face to face, small groups to large groups. Although based in Essex, England, I am prepared to travel (may incur expenses). I have a full driving licence and valid passport (just in case!). I feel this work is a privilege and an honour.
