James Amos South Wales Celebrant
NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy from Civil Ceremonies
Hello and thank you for visiting my profile. It is important for you to find the right celebrant, and I hope the information here will help you to make your decision.
I’m James, a Civil Celebrant in South Wales. I live in Pontypridd, though I am originally from Yorkshire, have strong family links to South Wales with my father’s family originating in Ferndale, Rhondda Cynon Taff.
Alongside my work as a celebrant, I work as a therapist in Barry and as a broadcaster across the UK. I feel so honoured to be able to help families and friends say goodbye to their loved ones, and am delighted to be able to use my skill set to enable me to do this. A good funeral makes a big difference to those coping with grief and as a fully qualified, professional celebrant I offer you my services to create your perfect ‘goodbye’.
What is a Civil Celebrant?
As a Civil Celebrant I am free to work with you to create the perfect ceremony for your loved one without the constraints of a pre-determined script, or belief system. That means that the ceremony can be created to match your wishes- the choice of readings, music and whether to include religious content or not are entirely yours.
There is no right way to hold a ceremony; every funeral is unique, and it is that uniqueness which is important. It is important to me that you feel that your wishes have been respected and your loved one has been well respected and remembered.
