Nerys is an experienced and versatile cellist who enjoys playing a large mix of genres and styles from classical to contemporary pop. Based in Wales, Nerys is available for Wedding and Funerals as well as other events.

Nerys is an exquisite and experienced wedding cellist. Every special occasion is unique and Nerys prides herself in providing a bespoke service, tailored to the requirement of the client. Nerys is able to perform at various parts of the day, such as:

Matt gets a lot of wedding bookings from couples that seek something a little more up to date than a boring wedding band playing old fashioned songs too loud or a cheesy crooner singing in a club style.

Matt has played for the Royal Navy, BBC Horizons, The London 2012 Olympics and has even cut a track with an ex member of Lynyrd Skynyrd. 

Matt loves to play weddings; the mix of warm atmosphere and a friendly crowd gives Matt everything he needs to create a high energy party that everybody will remember for years to come.

The average wedding performance normally consists of 2 x 1 hour intervals, email, call or text Matt for a quote.

Matt likes to ask for a deposit to hold the date.
Booking Matt directly via this site avoids booking fees charged by Agencies, so the price may be more affordable than you expect. 

Matt Has Never Cancelled A Booking
Once your deposit is received, you don't need to worry about the entertainment for the big day any more. Matt will always turn up early, smartly dressed and fully equipped, and he is always fully contactable in the run up to the big day.

I am a strong Mezzo Soprano singer with experience in many different styles of singing. I began singing at while at school, singing in school and county choirs and also countless musicals and other shows.

I came to Cardiff to attend the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where I studied music performance.  I graduated in 2007 In 2009 I joined the group ‘The Siren Sisters’, a 1940’s wartime close harmony vocal trio. We performed in places such as; The Millennium Centre (Cardiff), The New Theatre, Cardiff (Cardiff), The Parc and Dare (Treorchy) and we were presented with the opportunity to sing as part of the 60th anniversary celebrations in Dunkirk. 

I also play violin and have played in several orchestras and bands over the years. The most recent band I have been in is Fireproof Giant who provided the music for the international tour of No Fit State’s show ‘Bianco’, this was both playing the violin and singing backing vocals.  I am currently playing the violin on a freelance basis for the orchestra British Sinfonietta, we perform at venues throughout the whole of the UK.

Mainly I am a freelance singer. I perform solo Jazz gigs with either a guitarist or a small band throughout live music venues in Cardiff and South Wales.  I also sing at a variety of different events, from weddings to fundraisers and have also performed on ITV’s X Factor and Text Santa.
