Just wanted to say again thank you so much for yesterday, the service was amazing & you did amazing with your speech, thank you so much for giving my brother the service he deserved. Ment a lot to me & my family x Tracey. Dear Karin,
I just wanted to thank you for everything. The service was just how I had envisaged it to be. Everyone said how lovely it had been, some said it was beautiful. People asked me how long you had know Paul for. I think that sums it up really. You spoke with such warmth and compassion. You really conveyed the words that expressed and described Paul so beautifully. You really conveyed the essence of him, which was so much what I wanted for the service. So thank you again, for the day and for making such a painful time a bit more bearable. Best wishes, Kim Hi Claire,
Sorry it’s taken so long to write, I wanted to say thanks for such a fantastic service and send off for my dad. Listening to family and friends afterwards it seems everyone thought the service was ‘spot on’ to coin one of my dads phrases. S Morris Dear Richard,
I just want to say thank you so very much for all your kindness and for taking care of everything yesterday. You made a sad and painful day so much easier for us all. Thank you for making it feel so natural for me to place the heather on her coffin. I wouldn’t have been brave enough to do it otherwise. (She always wished her name was Heather and so I had always called her Heather instead). We would also like to apologise for not realising we had your surname wrong. It was only after printing the order of service cards that we noticed your name is Terrado-Reardon not Reardon. It was so lovely to meet you and we will be forever grateful for your kindness at such a difficult time. With warmest regards Pauline, Matthew & Rod Brewster x Hello again Claire,
I just want to thank you again for the wonderful celebration of the life of my wife you delivered on Wednesday. I am sure she would have approved as have all the family and all the friends and colleagues present. It was a fitting send off for a wonderful woman. Best wishes for the future Mike W Hi Claire,
Thank you so much for delivering Mum's service today. I think she would have loved her send off. Everyone has commented how lovely the service was. All the very best, Claire I’m so happy to say that I made my choice wisely and that you conveyed warmth, love and compassion..3/9/2019
Good morning Karin
I returned home yesterday and I slept very well last night – at last! I know I thanked you after the service but my mind was very unfocussed at that point! I wanted to create some space to reflect on the whole service and then write to you. I thought you would like to know that I lost count of the number of people who took the time to come to me and express what a wonderful ‘service’ it was for Ken. They thought that it brought out the real Ken beautifully and that it was warm and informal enough to ‘enjoy’. They commented on the music and the women’s eulogies and how well you conveyed mine. I would like to echo that and to thank you personally because I know I would never have been able to get through all that I wanted to say without breaking down and making people feel uneasy witnessing my suffering - and I wanted my life with Ken to be represented the way that I would have delivered it if I could have – and you did exactly that - I heard you convey exactly the right tone and pause where I would have and deliver the funny bits appropriately and the emotional bits with dignity and integrity to the actual event. The delivery of my eulogy is one reason why I wanted a woman to do it, but I also wanted a woman because I knew that there would be a strong male imbalance without a woman taking the lead. And, as far as I’m concerned the service attained exactly the right balance. I’m so happy to say that I made my choice wisely and that you conveyed warmth, love and compassion in a way that the aura created in the room was – well I don’t have a word to explain it – it was just right, a combination of warmth, reality, love and seriousness. Ken’s friend Allen in the second row managed to convey, musically, a spine-tingling effect to the hymns (he’s one of the Pendyrus male voice choir) and an old friend at the club told me a couple of times, ‘that’s the ‘best’ service he’s been to!’ I was so touched that I’d managed to do that for Ken and I couldn’t have done that without your professionalism and natural way of communicating in a way that is ‘just right’ and of course with Lauren’s gentle, reassuring and professional holding and support throughout. Thank you so much Karin Warm wishes Sue Hi Bruno, just wanted to say thank you on behalf of us all for yesterday. I was dreading it but it was such a lovely service, very funny and just ...uplifting. Lots of people have been in touch to say how lovely it was and that it was their first Humanist funeral. It just captured Dave perfectly and it was so lovely to hear how much he meant to everyone.
Em x Dear Richard,

Just a short note to say a very big thankyou to you as I received your very lovely copy of the Celebration for the life of my brother Stephen Robert Robinson who passed away on the 30th May. You put it all together very well indeed, I was most impressed. I was really moved when reading it through and now I have it as a keep sake, of which I will cherish. Hi Tony,
I just wanted to thank you so much for yesterday. You turned what was going to be a very difficult time into a very moving dignified service. All the family were pleased. My husband said that it made him think that he would actually prefer a simple ceremony with just family, because it was more intimate and personal. Given all the circumstances that I outlined to you, the service was a huge relief for me. Hi Bruno
Just a massive thank you for today. You helped make a very sad day for myself and my family into a day that was bearable. What a great tribute to my wonderful dad. Thank you again. Kind Regards. Jane Hi Tony, Thank you so much for today you did a lovely service, had so many comments about how good you were thank you for making my dads service special xx
Hi Bruno, have to say me and my brother are so proud of the way you took dad's service. A lot of people remarked on what a lovely service it was. Thank you will always highly recommend you.
Deena x Michael Farr was the Celebrant for my father's funeral. My mother, my sister and myself, and all of our family would like to thank Mike for his kindness, care and compassion during the planning and the service for dad. From our first meeting with him we felt comfortable talking about dad and our family life over the years. Mike was very particular in his attention to detail, making sure we were happy with the content of the service. The family collectively feel that the service and tribute to dad was as he would have wanted. We have had lovely comments from family and friends who attended the funeral regarding the service and the tribute to dad.
The service provided by Mountain Celebrations was compassionate and professional at what is a terribly difficult time. The guidance we were given as a family helped us to say goodbye to dad with love and dignity and the memory of a tribute to a much loved and missed family man and friend. Hannah I want first to thank and congratulate you for the wonderful way you conducted the celebration7/5/2019
Dear Tony,
I want first to thank and congratulate you for the wonderful way you conducted the celebration of Joy's life , it was everything she could have wished for, Joy would want me to thank you on behalf of herself and her family for your beautiful and comforting words. As you could see from the full chapel she was very much loved by many many people some of whom had travelled great distances to be with us, I didn't mention it yesterday, possibly too late, but friends in Egypt had prayers said for her yesterday in the mosque in Luxor, our favourite place out of all the fabulous places we were lucky enough to visit before tourism arrived,so she was loved by virtually everyone who came in contact with for her lovely warm smile just like the sunshine she loved. Once again and from the bottom of my broken heart Thank You. |
